American Numismatic Association Library- The ANA helps all people discover and explore the world of money through its vast array of programs including its education and outreach, museum, library, publications, conventions and seminars.The ANA Numismatic Library is named in honor of ANA benefactor and noted rare coin collector, Dwight N. Manley .

The Library of the American Numismatic Society  -  The Society's Library, which houses one of the world's most comprehensive collections of numismatic literature, presently numbers some 100,000 items. These include books, periodicals, manuscripts, photographs, pamphlets, auction catalogues, and microforms, all of which are catalogued.

ANS Numismatic Literature
Oliver Hoover, Editor  - The American Numisamtic Society's Numismatic Literature is the Society's annotated bibliography of published work in all fields of numismatics. At its core NumLit is a text archive that supports multiple delivery formats, one that is designed for longevity in the face of rapid technological innovation.
 
Publications of the American Numismatic Society - The ANS began its publishing program in 1866, when Joseph N.T. Levick proposed that the ANS establish a journal of "numismatic and archaeological intelligence." His proposal was adopted and by July 1866 the ANS had published the first issue of the American Journal of Numismatics — the first numismatic journal published in the United States.

The PCGS Research Archive - PCGS will be offering a rare opportunity for numismatists to access some truly unique and unusual archival documents relating to numismatics. Some of these have not been available for many years; others have never been publicly released.

Fitzwilliam Museum:Department of Coins and MedalsThe permanent displays of the Department of Coins and Medals are distributed across the different galleries of the museum, each in the appropriate cultural or artistic context with the objects of the other departments.

The State Hermitage Museum Department of Numismatics in St. Petersburg, Russia
- The Hermitage numismatics collection has long been famed as one of the largest in the country. The bulk of the collection consists of coins: Ancient (some 120,000), Eastern (over 220,000), Russian (300,000) and Western (360,000). The collection also includes commemorative medals (some 75,000), orders and medals, badges (about 50,000) and a variety of sphragistic material (connected with seals).

University of Oxford, Ashmolean Museum Heberden Coin Room
The Heberden Coin Room houses a systematic and comprehensive collection of some three hundred thousand coins and medals. It has an academic staff of six and is a leading international centre for teaching and research in numismatics and monetary history.

University of Glasgow, Hunterian Museum, Coin Collection
- The core of the collection remains the Cabinet of Dr. William Hunter, probably the finest ever put together by a private individual. Hunter's own account book shows that he began to collect coins about 1770 and over the next 13 years, until his death in 1783, he spent a fortune of over £22,000 in this endeavour.

Magna Graecia Coins Lists published Greek coin types of Italy and Sicily (including Carthaginian issues from Zeugitana, Sardinia etc.) till 212 BC.  Contains 1458 illustrated coin types (3334 images in total).

The British Museum Department of Coins & Medals -
The Department of Coins and Medals is home to one of the world's finest numismatic collections, comprising about one million objects. The collection spans the entire history of coinage from its origins in the 7th century BC to the present day, and related material such as coin weights, tokens and money-boxes.

The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Numismatic Collection  - In 1969, the Israel Museum decided to establish an official Numismatics Department under the curatorship of Ya'akov Meshorer. The purpose of such a department was, and still is, to exhibit the important numismatic material of ancient Israel, with an emphasis on Jewish coinage, while building a comprehensive collection of coins with a focus on those that circulated or were struck in this country over the ages.

Ancient Greek and Roman Coins, an Educational Site by Doug Smith   - A 'fast food' or 'pop culture' approach to the subject of ancient numismatics.

- The MoneyMuseum presents the Western history of money from its beginnings to the middle of the 20th century and imparts it by exploiting various vehicles for its information. Central to these is the very high-quality coin collection and the use of the latest technology.
